Purpose: Return to archery
Are you looking to get back into archery? A simple refresher session can soon get you back up and shooting.
If you have been away from the sport for a year or so and want a bit of a nudge in the right direction, we can help!
For example, if you did your beginners course either with us or a club over a year ago, this is ideal. We will help you get your kit set-up again and make sure all is good with this. Then we will support you on the range to help you get the arrows back on target.
This is a 1 hour session, where a coach will look after you for half of the session. This will be bespoke to you and we will adapt the session as appropriate to ensure that you can get the best out of this time with a coach supporting you. Once you get your eye-in, we will leave you to shoot for the remainder of the session.
If after this, you believe that you need a little more support we can discuss options, although usually at this time we will encourage you to merely shoot on a pay & play basis on your own to get back in to the routine.
This is not a full instructional course – it is a chance to refresh what you have previously been taught under the support and guidance of a qualified and experienced coach.

The range returners session is a great referesher with our experienced coaches. But if you want to develop yourself further then take a look at our intermediate sessions where we can take you through a much more detailed improvers session.
As you know, archery is a safe sport as long as we all follow a few basic rules. Our insurers are very strict on how we assess and demonstrate your competency to shoot. As a consequence we will need to ask you for some basic information before you can shoot, this will include your agreement to the rules of the range and is for the safety of everyone.
For under 18’s a parent or guardian must remain on the premises, but don’t fear, you can relax in our viewing area with a cappuccino, and watch all those arrows hitting the gold!
